The design of this binding has been inspired by the feeling I had when I held the book in my hands for the first time. The flowers seemed to come out of the pages. The brilliant colors with the contrast of the black seem to give life to the flowers flying towards me.

 

Description of the binding:
 

Laced in board fine binding structure. Full black leather, french box calf,  textured with a special design of flowers created for this binding. Pop-up flowers created with Japanese paper in cream, white and pink-orange color. The flowers move and keep opened over the cover with the use of magnets. Inlay leather technique had been used to apply the flowers to the cover. White leather doublure, box calf textured with a special design created for the binding.
 

The book is preserved into a special box with leather spine, black color, box calf textured with a special design created for the box.
 

All the titles have been done by hand in pink-cream and white color.
