I have let the zig-zag format remain as the photographs of flowers look wonderful when spread out.

Multi coloured Japanese mingei papers were attached to the front and top edges of the pages.

At each end I have added three layers of coloured goatskin boards together with a wooden board, planed into a third of a circle, and covered in black goatskin, with coloured leather inlays and gold tooling. The recessed channel in these boards allows for a green leather strip which encapsulates the whole piece. This is attached at the back and closes into a slot between the leathers. This strip also carries the title, lettered in gold at the front.

Housed in a lift off lid cloth box with felt lining and gold tooled leather lettering label.
